After BMIDE crashes in some state the BMIDE deployment lock is still on.
After a restart you are still not able to make a deploy.
Solution:
bmide_deployment_lock -u=infodba -p=infodba -g=dba -release
Problem: You open BMIDE and select your workspace and then BMIDE ist hanging, stocking, no loading window appears.
After a long while BMIDE starts, but you are not able to do a Hot Deploy.
If you want to use Umlauts like ä, ö, ü
you have to change a file for TC and BMIDE:
In TC11 a propery with story type “double” shows too much zeroes.
TC10 = value 15
TC11 = value 15.00000000
Something Teamcenter does not like very much is the deletion of things in the data model. It takes the utmost care!

Case: You make a change in BMIDE and want to deploy it.
So, hot or cold? And whats the difference?
Whenever you need to deploy in BMIDE, you must enter userId, pass and group.
You can predefine this as a profil:
Case: Sometimes a Deploy in TEM (Environment Manager) crashes and you have to stop process.
The solution is ready, but after restarting TEM, it is in recovery mode.
You can bring back TEM from recovery state:
Case:
You’ve been working on your template for a long time in BMIDE and want to deploy it to your system.
However, you are not sure what exactly will change or what effect your change will have on the system.
Often, even small errors can crash the deploy and the correction is tedious and dangerous.
Solution:
You need a tool that simply compares your template to be deployed with the data model of your database.
